1. BOWLING for No Dollars! Ten pins, a ball, slick shoes and you. The ‘Kids Bowl Free’ program lets kids do just that… head out to the local lanes and throw some strikes. Or even some gutterballs. You have to register and set up an account, but then will receive passes for two free games per kid each day all summer long! Local lanes include:
Facenda-Whitaker Lanes: 2912 Swede Rd. Norristown, PA, 19401 (610) 272-6547
Center Lanes: 7550 City Ave. Philadelphia, PA, 19151 (215) 878-5050
Thunderbird Lanes: 1130 North York Road Willow Grove, PA, 19090 (215) 659-1715
2. Parents EAT free! The Little Treehouse is running a new special where parents eat free with the purchase of a kids meal (and I’m pretty sure you need to have an actual kid with you too). This special runs weekday evenings after 5pm and all weekend. Pretty sweet deal… they have great food and the little ones love it there, so you’ll actually get to eat it. One per family.
4. The National Constitution Center is offering free admission to kids 12 and under. Loads of interactive exhibits, overflowing with our city and nation’s history. Learn about the Real George Washington or check out Spies, Traitors, and Saboteurs. Up to 4 kids free with paying adult.
