Potter fans unite!  Chestnut Hill College and the Chestnut Hill Business Association are partnering for the Chestnut Hill Harry Potter Weekend/Philadelphia Brotherly Love Cup Quidditch Tournament…  this weekend, October 14, 15 and 16! This three-day festival celebrates the spirit of the popular children’s books and movie series.  Kick-off the fun on Friday at 6 p.m. at the Top of the Hill Fountain Plaza with a welcoming ceremony that features a parade of Quidditch teams from all over the region, as well as the ceremonial release of Hedwig the Owl by Hogwarts Headmaster, Dumbledore.

On Saturday, the 2nd Annual Philadelphia Brotherly Love Cup Quidditch Tournament will take place from noon to 6 p.m. at the Chestnut Hill College soccer field. Free and open to the public, the tournament includes 12 college and community-Quidditch teams from the Philadelphia area and beyond. Participating teams include: Vassar, Penn State, John Hopkins University, the University of Maryland, SUNY Genesco, Lafayette College, and the State College Area High School Quidditch Club.

But that’s only the tip of the wizard’s hat… there’s much, much, more to do in and around the hill this weekend!  (Muggles welcome)
