“How To Train A Dragon Spectacular”’

Fire-breathing, 50-foot flying dragons come to the Wells Fargo Center this weekend as Cressida Cowell’s exciting tale and movie comes to life in Dreamworks’ “How to Train a Dragon Spectacular.”  Featuring Hiccup, a Viking whose family wants to him to learn how to kill dragons but instead he befriends one, the show is like none other and includes 23 animatronic dragons, a 3280 square foot stage and four-story projections screen as its backdrop.  Combine all this with a story of love and friendship and you have nothing short of a spectacular!  Tickets are available now at ComcastTIX.com, or by phone at 1-800-298-4200, or in person at the Wells Fargo Center Box Office.

 

Family Fun Day in Vernon Park 

Saturday, September 15th from 11:00am to 6:00pm, families are invited to Vernon Park in Germantown (5818 Germantown Avenue), for family day.  Bring blankets and lawn chairs, pack or buy lunch and dinner, and enjoy their meals with family members and neighbors in the park. Activities include Tai Chi, Yoga, Zumba, field games, drum lessons, and face painting. Food truck vendors will be across the street in the Germantown Life Enrichment Center parking lot for the day. Constitution Center Family-Friendly Fair
